Celebrate Your Home Games and Volunteer

Competition against other nations at a meaningful, "Home Games" can be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for athletes. It is emotional and unforgettable. A Home Games can also be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for volunteers and Whitby is proud to host the Parapan Am sports of Boccia and Judo at Abilities Centre.

You can volunteer for the Toronto2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games in Whitby, Oshawa, Ajax or at any venue you choose. You can specify the municipality or venue of your choice during the registration process. All volunteers who put on Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games uniforms will be front-line hosts and ambassadors. They will embody the community pride, diversity and enthusiasm that define the Games. They will gain valuable skills training, and help ensure visitors and athletes from around the world sing the praises of our region, long after the Games are over.

Volunteer tasks can include; preparing the field of play, recording quotes from athletes, taking tickets, transporting athletes to events and even participating in Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Volunteers are needed here in Whitby and right across Southern Ontario.

We hope yours will be among the many hands helping us deliver the largest International multi-sport Games ever held in Canada. These are your home Games. Seize the opportunity!

You can register online from the comfort of your home or the public video kiosk at the main branch of the Whitby Public Library, 405 Dundas Street West, Whitby, ON, L1N 6A1.
